SALT XT Uptide Rod

The Shakespeare SALT XT Uptide rod is a unique rod for it’s price. By using the best quality carbon the slim blanks are responsive and yet very powerful and strong. The rod is especially designed to be able to cast heavy weights far away from the boat, but the sensitive tip gives perfect bite detection. The special short butt long tip section results in a perfect bent all over the blank and keeps the strength in the butt section. Next to that, the rod is equipped with special SW proof K-type guides, thereby making sure that the line cannot get entangled around the guides anymore, preventing knots or breakages.
